Ik ben opgeleid als algemeen econoom in de jaren 90. Mijn interesse gaat verder dan technologie alleen: ik kijk graag naar wat IT betekent voor organisaties en de samenleving.

In dertig jaar heb ik het vak van IT-specialist van alle kanten gezien: COBOL, Oracle, DBA, testen, informatieanalyse. Sinds 2010 werk ik als IT-architect en begeleid ik organisaties bij transformaties naar service-georiënteerde IT-landschappen.

De blogs op deze site zijn korte essays. Je leest ze in twee minuten. Ze geven inzicht in hoe IT-architectuur er in de praktijk uitziet.

I was trained as a general economist in the 1990s. My interest goes beyond technology alone: I like to explore what IT means for organizations and society.

Over the past thirty years, I have experienced the IT profession from many different angles: COBOL, Oracle, DBA work, testing, and information analysis. Since 2010, I have worked as an IT architect, guiding organizations through transformations toward service-oriented IT landscapes.
